Goodness, how time flies!

September 14th, 2009

Gosh, I can't believe it's the middle of September already! Mikey's almost eight months! He stopped nursing about 2 months ago because I was put on some meds for a few days and my milk supply after that was just not enough for my little fatty. He (finally) started to crawl, that lazy bum, at 7 months he's been getting around the living room, family room, and kitchen. He kinda plops around instead of crawling on his hands and knees, but he's determined and is starting to get into things. We've been saying to eachother "When will he crawl?" and 'I cant wait to see him crawl, and then he started and we're all like "Uh-Oh! Put those shoes away! Get the vacuum out! Mikey's eating something!" Goodness :)

He's a happy little man right now who smiles so sweetly at everyone, and screams and bangs his hands when he's excited. The kids are all still so in love with him, and still want to carry and feed and even change his diaper. He stays at home with Rocky now since he's not yet back to work. I think that daddy time is good, but I have gottne jealous a few times when I've come home from work and hear he's done something new. But Rocky's good about it and makes sure to grab my camera at every new thing Mikey does.

Everyone else is good but very busy! Mari (10) my big 5th grader *sigh* has activities four days out of the week. Cheerleading on Tuesdays, tumbling for cheer on wednesdays, hip-hop on thursdays, and cheerleading at football games on Saturdays. She's doing good and loves all of it. Last week she decided to run for Vice President for Student Council for 5th grade!! I'm so pround of her, and helped her make "Vote for Me" posters and t-shirts.

Rock's in 3rd (8) grade already! He has football practice Tuesday and Thursday nights and games on Saturdays. He tried out just last weekend for MF Junior Indians baseball, his first time trying out for a sport and he did really good. We find out tonight if he makes it. *fingers crossed*

Bri's (7) in 2nd grade now and still makes me laugh daily at the funny things she does. Just the other day she needed a runnberband for her water bottle and I told her to just use a hairband. But then she yelled "Wait! I have a rubber band in my shoe!" and whips off her shoe and pulls out a rubberband explaining she found it on the playground and took it just in case she needed it. Oh, my Bri. She's in dance every Thursday with Jules and loves it.

Julia's (6) is in a 1st/2nd grade class this year! My little smarty pants was choosen for that class, and I think it's going to do her good. She's reading at a 2nd grade level! She goes to dance to with Bri every Thursday and loves it. She still laughs at everything Bri says and still only calls her Na-na.

Things have been good. I just realized between now and my last post we've moved. Went from our little place on Mill street to an awesome house on Joper in Menomonee Falls. We are totally loving and enjoying it!! Life is good!
