Last week, was a very busy week! We found out last Monday night that Rock Jr. (8) made the Menomonee Falls Jr. Indians baseball team!! So exciting!! Rock was smiling ear-to-ear the whole night and we celebrated with two bowls of chocolate icecream! Practice already started yesterday (Sunday) even though the games dont even start until May 2010!
Tuesday night, Mari had cheerleading. Rock Sr took Rock jr to basketball try-outs. It was actually for 4th graders but they still let Rock try-out and said they would pick 4th graders first. He goes to the 2nd day of try-outs Wednesday.

Mari finished up her speech for Student Council Vice President. It was awesome and she read it to me about 20 times. I took off work Wednesday afternoon to go to school and watch her give her speech. She did great. A little nervous, but she did it and looked so pretty up there! Unfortunately, she didn't win. Total bummer, but we showed her how super proud we were for her trying. She was kind of bummed so again, we pulled out the chocolate icecream.
